Eggless Chocolate Cake Recipe
Ingredients
- Refined Flour or Maida
- Cocoa Powder
- Sugar
- Salt
- Baking Soda
- Baking Powder
- Milk
- Oil
- Vanilla Essence
- Lemon juice or vinegar
Preparation
The first step in the eggless chocolate cake recipe is to make the delicious batter.
Take 1 cup of refined flour along with ¾ cup of sugar, ⅓ rd cup of cocoa powder, a pinch of salt, ½ teaspoons of baking soda, and baking powder. Sift these ingredients using a sieve into a wide and deep bowl.
Next, in the bowl with the sieved ingredients, add 1 cup milk ( a little more or less is okay too), ¼ cup or 50 ml oil, ½ teaspoon vanilla essence, and 1 teaspoon of lemon juice, which is an essential ingredient in the eggless chocolate cake recipe, as it acts a substitute for eggs. Whisk the contents in the bowl, till there are no lumps present.
Take a baking pan and grease it with butter either directly on the pan, or the butter paper layer. Preheat the oven to 350 Fahrenheit for about 15 minutes. Bake in the preheated oven for a good 30-40 minutes.
Around 25 minutes, start checking the status as you want to avoid it getting burnt. Insert a skewer wooden stick or a fork gently, and if the fork comes out clean, the cake is cooked. Let it cool down for about 10 minutes and flip it over gently onto a plate.
I have one more recipe to complement the eggless chocolate cake recipe, a simple chocolate frosting to top the chocolate cake and add to the deliciousness. In a pan, boil water, and on it place a bowl with dark chocolate and milk. Let the chocolate melt slowly, and once melted add a spoon of butter to it. You can also make the chocolate sauce using the double boiler method.
Slowly and steadily pour the chocolate frosting on the cake. You can top it with dry fruits like chopped almonds or cashews or chocolate chips. And there you go! Don’t forget the last step in the eggless chocolate cake recipe, to savor the delectable chocolate cake!
